Greenjackets Baseball & the Nuthouse
Written by James Stafford Tuesday, May 08 2012
What's more American than apple pie? What about Mom or even Willie Nelson? It's Minor League Baseball. Unlike Major League Baseball, minor league baseball is played in small and medium sized markets. It allows a closeness to the game that cannot be gained in large markets.
You can see future superstars finding their way, marginal players trying to scratch out an existence, or even major league players rehabbing from an injury or trying to put it together for one more shot at the show. It is uniquely American.
At Stafford Nut & Bolt, we have long been supporters of our hometown Augusta Greenjackets as season ticket holders. If you are a customer or potential customer of ours, we would love to take you to a game this season, or if you would just like to go with some friends or family, let us know. We will be happy to arrange it. You see, we think minor league baseball is a great product. It's fun for the adults and it's a great place to take the kids. The Greenjackets staff is very helpful and they seem to have a pretty cool promotion every night. Ask your outside salesperson if you're interested or just call us at the nuthouse and tell us you want to take in a ballgame. We hope to see you out there.
